Director of Product Science & Development leading extraction and vape formulation at Green Thumb Industries in Chicago, IL. **What you'll do** - Own solvent-based extraction science (hydrocarbon, fresh-frozen live resin) optimizing yield, potency, and terpene retention - Develop and refine extraction parameters across workflow including material prep, solvent ratios, temperature, winterization, and purging - Manage solventless extraction (ice-water hash, rosin pressing) and optimize post-processing protocols - Formulate vape products from extracts, tuning viscosity and terpene blends for cartridge platforms **What they're looking for** - Deep expertise in solvent-based and solventless extraction chemistry - Strong knowledge of vape formulation and cannabinoid/terpene profiles - Hands-on bench and process experience with rigorous experimentation - Ability to work closely with extraction, production, quality, and innovation teams **Details** - Location: Chicago, IL (based at facility; up to 50% travel; relocation package available) - Type: Full Time - Salary: $150,000–$180,000/year
