Director, Technical Accounting at Curaleaf in Stamford, CT, leading complex accounting research and M&A transaction support for a leading cannabis provider. **What you'll do** - Research, evaluate, and document complex accounting matters under U.S. GAAP - Lead technical accounting for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic transactions including purchase accounting and valuation - Prepare technical accounting memoranda and review financial statements and footnote disclosures - Partner with Legal, Tax, Treasury, and other teams; serve as key contact for external auditors - Monitor accounting standards and develop accounting policies **What they're looking for** - Hands-on technical accounting leader with expertise in complex U.S. GAAP matters - Experience with business combinations, consolidation, impairment, debt/equity, revenue recognition, and leases - Strong research, documentation, and communication skills - Ability to work independently and communicate with senior leaders and external auditors **Details** - Location: Stamford, CT - Type: Full-time, Exempt - Salary: $170,000–$200,000/year
