Lead AI transformation and operational efficiency initiatives across Story Cannabis, a vertically integrated cannabis company headquartered in Phoenix. **What you'll do** - Partner with department leaders across Accounting, Finance, HR, Legal, IT, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to identify AI and automation opportunities - Develop and manage an enterprise AI roadmap, translating opportunities into executable project plans with defined scope, timelines, budgets, and success metrics - Lead initiatives from discovery through implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring measurable results - Drive Accounting and Finance transformation with an initial emphasis on these functions **What they're looking for** - Strong project leadership and ability to drive results across departments - Business acumen to evaluate opportunities based on impact, cost savings, efficiency gains, and ROI - Hands-on approach to understanding workflows and identifying inefficiencies - Ability to work with specialized vendors and consultants when needed **Details** - Location: Remote - Company: Story Cannabis (Phoenix-based, multi-state operator)
